Cart Help
Salty Acres Campground's Secure Online Store is a simple and secure shopping cart system.
The flow is very similar to shopping anywhere:
1) Add to Cart > 2) Customer Info > 3)
Check Out Info > 4) Confirm Order
The FIRST STEP is Salty Acres Campground's Reservation
Deposit page. Once you enter the desired quantities
(# of Nights Paid with Deposit / Qty) and click the Add to Cart button - you will
be taken to the View Cart page on Salty Acres Campground's Secure
Online Store. Security verification: when entering
personal information online, the browser address bar should
read "https://..." and the lock icon should appear
in the browser window.
The View Cart page displays the Product Information, such as Qty,
Item #, Item Name, Item Price and Item Total, as well as the Order
Sub Total and Order Total. The View Cart page allows
you to Update/Delete Items.
- To Update an item, change the Qty and click the Update button.
- To Remove an item, simply click the Delete button.
- To Empty your Cart, click the Empty Cart button.
Once the Order appears to be correct, click the Send Order button to proceed.
- The 7% Maine State Tax will be applied during the Check Out process, your new total including 7% Tax will be displayed on the Confirm Order page.
The SECOND STEP is the Account Login page.
Once you click the Send Order button on the View Cart page, you will
be prompted to Create an Account so that we can collect your Customer
Information which includes Billing, Shipping and Payment Information.
If you are a New User: click "Create New Account and Place Order".
You will be taken to the New Account page. The New
Account page allows you to enter your Billing Information
(Name, Address, Contact Information). Once you've entered
your Billing Information, click the "Click Here to
Continue Account Creation" button. This will take you
to the Shipping Information page for your New Account.
If you are an Existing User (if you previously
used this Deposit system): enter your Email Address
and Password, then click the Login button.
If you Forgot your Password: enter your Email
Address and click to put a check in the box to the
right of "I forgot my password; please send email",
then click the Login button.
The THIRD STEP is the Check Out page.
The Check Out page displays all Customer Information which includes
Billing, Shipping, and Payment & Reservation Information.
The Billing Information entered in the previous step is displayed
here.
- If you notice an error in your Billing Information, click on "Click
Here to Edit Account Information" to make the appropriate changes.
Is your Shipping Information the same as your Billing Information?
- Click to put a checkmark to the right of "Same as Billing";
the fields will automatically fill in.
Enter your Payment & Reservation Information. Salty Acres Campground accepts Visa, Mastercard and Discover for Reservation Deposits.
- Click to select a radio button to the left of the Payment Method
you will be using
- Enter your Credit Card #, Exp. Date, and CVV2 Security Code from the back of your card
- Click the drop-down arrow to select the # of Adults, # of Children, and # of Pets
- Enter the Size of the camping unit, if applicable
- Enter the Preferred Site #'s, if necessary
- Enter your Arrival Date & Day and Departure Date & Day (Example:
May 14, Friday) NOTE: 2010 Season is May 14th - Columbus Day
- Enter the Amount of Nights Paid with your Reservation Deposit, or the amount of Nights being paid in advance of your arrival (Example: You added 3 Nights to your cart, but are reserving 6 Nights - please enter "3"). This helps us determine if you are sending the minimum deposit required or are paying in full. The Arrival and Departure Dates determine the entire length of stay.
- Enter any Request or Comments you have, if necessary
- Check the box to the right of "I have read and agree to Campground Policies"
Once the Check Out page is filled in, click the Send Order button.
This will take you to the Confirm Order page where you can review
your Order in it's entirety.

The FINAL STEP is the Confirm Order page.
Be sure to review and verify all of your Order Information.
You may want to print the Confirm Order page
for your records. For additional security measures, you will not recieve an immediate confirmation
e-mail from Salty Acres Campground.
- If the information is correct, click on the Confirm
Order button.
- If the information is not correct, click on your
browser Back button to make the appropriate changes, then click on
the Confirm Order button.
Clicking on the Confirm Order button will send
your Reservation Deposit to Salty Acres Campground for processing.
You will then be taken to the Thank You page which will display
your Order #. We will confirm receipt of your Reservation by e-mail within 72 hours. If 72 hours has elapsed and you have not heard back from us in response to your Reservation Deposit, it is your responsibility to contact us for verification (some e-mail responses are returned due to electronic errors beyond our control or filtering/blocking software).
NOTES
Each page of the Salty Acres Campground Secure Online Store displays the Reservation Deposit, View Cart, Acct Info, and Cart Info buttons.
Will take you back to the Salty Acres Campground Reservation
Deposit page, where you can add another type of camp site deposit to your Cart, if needed.
Will take you to the View Cart page.
Will take you to the Account Information page if you have already
created an Account; will take you to the Account Login page if you
have not already created an Account.
Will take you back to this page if you need assistance while using
the Salty Acres Campground Secure Online Store.
